Description
Crispy tofu and a bright soy-lime glaze make these lettuce wraps fresh but satisfying.
Ingredients
- 14 oz firm tofu, pressed and diced
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
- 2 tbsp chopped peanuts
- 2 tbsp chopped cilantro and mint
- 12 lettuce leaves
Preparation
- Toss tofu with cornstarch and pan-fry until crisp.
- Add soy sauce, lime juice, and honey; toss to glaze.
- Chop peanuts and herbs.
- Prepare lettuce leaves.
Assembly
- Fill lettuce cups with glazed tofu.
- Top with peanuts and herbs.
Serving Suggestions
- Serve with chili crisp on the side.
- Pair with cucumber salad.
Notes or Variations
- Tempeh can replace tofu.
